The “Lucia”

Is it a tote or a purse? You decide!

Fits a tablet and several notebooks, or a slew of purse items, this versatile bag boasts a unique shape, two large, lined pockets on the outside (on the sides—that dip in fabric is actually a pocket!) and four pockets on the inside.  Made with 4 different fabrics and a beautiful lining!

Carried tucked up under the arm or by the handle at your side, this bag is great for an every-day purse, special occasion, or for work.  There is a magnetic snap for closure in the middle of the crescent piece.  The bottom is made with vinyl, which is easy to wipe clean if the bag is set in something sticky or dirty!

The ”Lucia” tote/purse is made in sets of between 2-6 of a kind, so most likely the exact items you see in the photos on this page have already found a good home :-)  The purpose here is to show photos with our models, and details of this design so you can check out all the features!

DIMENSIONS: 13 inches across, 13 inches tall from lowest point on crescent to the bottom, 4 inches deep

WHERE TO BUY:  The “Lucia” can be found at many of the retailers that carry the St.Clair Designs line! Check our Where to Buy page to see if there is a source near you!  If not, then please visit our online store.

NAMED AFTER:  Two people actually! Lucia can be pronounced two different ways.  The first is the “old fashioned” Swedish pronunciation (Lu-sha), who was my maternal grandmother. She gave the best hugs and let me sit on her lap for as long as I wanted as a little kid. The more modern, Hispanic pronunciation of the name (Lu-ce-a) is my niece!   Lu-lu, as we call her, is the sharpest young lady I know. She was born with inherent independence and drive to do exactly what she wants (in the best possible way!).  Born years apart, this design was named in honor of both of these beloved ladies in my life.
