The “Millie” Market Tote

Millie's Market Tote

ONE-OF-A-KIND!   Named after my late Grandmother, Mildred St.Clair, this LARGE tote bag is great for everything!  A trip to the Hot Springs, the Farmer's Market, a roomy over-night bag or for all that yarn!

Designed and sewn during the spring of 2020 (quarantine creativity!) when I needed to rely on the fabrics and supplies I already had laying around.  This extremely functional bag can go with you whenever you need some extra space and fun! Each appliqué flower is made with the scraps from our now-famous "Ria" water bottle holders.

And YES! There is a very deep pocket on each side! So deep in fact that any water or wine bottle just barely peeks out of the top!

The ”Millie” Market Totes are all one-of-a-kind, so most likely the exact items you see in the photos on this page have already found a good home :-)  The purpose here is to show photos and details of this design so you can check out all the features!

DIMENSIONS: 15 in tall, 13.5 in wide and 7.5 in deep. Straps are a minimum of 21 inches long.

WHERE TO BUY:  These can ONLY be found on our online store in 2020.

NAMED AFTER:  This design was named after my late grandmother, Mildred St.Clair, who passed away at the amazing age of 97, just before Covid hit the world stage.  She was a brilliant and competitive bridge player, lived through and taught me about all the intense challenges life can bring, and was one of the most generous and conscientious humans I have ever known.  During her lifetime, only my uncle Dan was allowed to call her “Millie”.

Quarantine Creativity!

Suddenly finding myself with lots of time at home and only able to use the supplies I had on hand, this design was the first to be created during the COVID Stay-at-Home order in March/April 2020.

This video was made in week 4 of quarantine, back when I was dressing in costume everyday to keep things fun!
